What the app collects

Koffret stores your menu bar layout and settings on your own Mac. None of it is sent to us.

To show hidden icons as they really look, the app uses Screen Recording permission to read the drawing of the menu bar strip. That image is used for display at that moment only. It is neither stored nor transmitted.

What this site collects

When you use the contact form we record your name, email address, message, source IP address and browser type. We use them only to reply to you and to keep out abusive submissions.

Sharing with others

We do not pass your personal data to anyone else except where the law requires it. We use an external email provider to send mail, which handles your name and address for that purpose.

How long we keep it

We keep contact records for three years after the exchange ends, then delete them.

Access, correction and deletion

To see, correct or delete your personal data, contact us through the form. We act promptly once we have confirmed your identity.
